These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Mech Correct software platform (the "Service"), operated by RigBoss Software ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you and the business you represent ("you") agree to these Terms. If you create an account on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company, and these Terms bind that company regardless of which of its representatives created or uses the account.
Mech Correct provides shop-management software for automotive repair businesses, including repair orders, estimates, digital inspections, customer messaging, payments, scheduling, inventory, reporting, and AI-assisted diagnostics. Features may change as the Service evolves.
You retain ownership of the business data you enter into the Service (customers, vehicles, repair orders, and similar records). You grant us the rights needed to host, process, back up, and display that data to operate the Service. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and consents for data you enter, including customer contact information used for messaging.
The Service — including its software, design, user interface, workflows, documentation, and all related intellectual property — is and remains the exclusive property of RigBoss Software. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your internal business operations during your subscription. No other rights are granted.
Non-public information about the Service — including pricing terms offered to you, product roadmap, performance characteristics, and technical details — is our confidential information. You will not disclose it to third parties or use it other than to use the Service. Evaluation accounts may be subject to a separate evaluation and non-disclosure agreement presented at sign-in; that agreement controls for those accounts.
Paid plans are billed in advance by subscription through our payment processor. Trials convert per the terms presented at signup. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Texting, payments, calendar, diagnostics data, and similar features rely on third-party providers. Your use of those features is also subject to the applicable third-party terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." AI-generated diagnostic guidance is informational and does not replace the judgment of a qualified technician; you are responsible for repair decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or risk to the Service or other customers. On termination, you may request an export of your data for a reasonable period.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, with exclusive jurisdiction in the state and federal courts of Guilford County, North Carolina. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in the Service, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement regarding the Service, except where a separately accepted evaluation or enterprise agreement applies.
